A love for language led me into a degree in Linguistics followed by many years of teaching English as a Second Language in Australia and the UK.
I later became qualified in Australian migration law in order to establish a business as an Australian Registered Migration Agent. This work required outstanding attention to detail and importantly, also, a commitment to my clients during the long process of applying for Australian residency.
With a growing family I decided to slow down my migration business and I came back full circle to my first love: language. In recent years I have worked as a proofreader and copyeditor for self-publishers, businesses, schools and students.
Throughout my career I have maintained that all-important work ethic. Whether teaching, representing clients in applying for Australian residency, or proofreading and copyediting, I have always cared deeply about the quality of my work and have a strong sense of responsibility to every person involved in the process.
